What does it cost to build a business website?
A template site is a few hundred to a few thousand dollars; a custom-designed marketing site is typically $5,000-$25,000; a site with real functionality — portals, booking, payments, integrations — is priced as software, not as design. The recurring costs are usually more forgotten than the build cost.
What actually drives price: how much custom design versus a theme, how many unique page types, whether the content already exists, and whether the site has to talk to anything else.
Websites, CRM, and automation land better as one system than as three vendors, because the handoffs between them are where leads get lost.
